Fiona Robertson
Fiona originally trained in Fine Art, which can be seen in her painterly approach to her machine and hand embroidered textile landscapes. Layers of fibres are meticulously stitched on the sewing machine and then intricate hand stitching builds texture and detail. Inspiration comes from a direct connection to the landscape.

Showing at the preview evening
Visitors will see work at various stages of completion as well as sketchbooks and developmental work. Framed and unframed embroideries will be available to purchase as well as giclée prints and cards. My studio is a bright and welcoming space with beautiful and expansive views of the surrounding countryside.

Coming from the A19, either North or South – take the exit signposted East Harlsey. Follow the road until you see a sign for The Beeches – Studio is number 5 (opposite a large white house)
From Northallerton – follow the A684, turn left at East Harlsey sign. Turn right into the village – I am on the left as you exit the village.
