Marilyn’s ‘Art Photos’ depict images of the built and natural world, but in a carefully edited form. She is driven not to simply record the literal, but to seek the patterns, textures, colours and forms that dwell within the obvious view, and to present them as artistic, abstracted images.

This is the first year Marilyn Elm have shown in the open studios!
Visitors will enjoy a sensory approach to the studio through the ‘Artist’s Garden’ with it’s colours and textures. A gazebo will provide an extra covered area adjacent to this small garden studio, enabling more visitors to comfortably rest and view the exhibited work.
