Over 200 artists take over the Inspired by… gallery in our most eclectic exhibition of the year. Come discover the artists who are opening their studios up to the public in summer 2026, all in one place.

Take part in our people’s choice award and see demonstrations and talks from exhibiting artists alongside a vibrant showcase of new artwork.

The Inspired by… gallery, nestled in the heart of the North York Moors National Park hosts a dynamic programme of exhibitions and events, bringing together established and emerging artists who draw their inspiration from this stunning landscape.

Housed in Danby Lodge National Park Centre, our modern, independent gallery provides a platform for local and national artists to share their stories and inspiration. With a rolling programme of exhibitions, events and creative courses, this is the place where stories are told, ideas are sparked and the North York Moors landscape is a constant source of inspiration.

The inspired by… gallery is a member of Own Art which is a national initiative that makes buying contemporary art and craft affordable by providing interest-free credit for the purchase of original work.
